Ice Protector OPTIFORCE® by Landolt protects snow from heat and UV radiation, filters out other natural environmental influences and in this way largely prevents snow and glacier ice from melting away. The material is a 2-layer, needle-punched composite nonwoven. It is environment-friendly, free of harmful substances and has been used for many years in millions of square metres in below-grade construction, tunnels and hydraulic constructions all over the world.
Ice Protector has been successfully tested in Austria and Switzerland, preserving up to 80% of the snow and ice protected using Ice Protector. Click Here to read more on these tests.
